When you register for CollegeWeekLive, you submit information such as your name, email address, and physical address, and well as other optional information.

We also collect other non-personally identifiable data, which may include your IP address, what browser you are using and what parts of the CollegeWeekLive event you use.

We do not collect any additional information besides what is provided by the user on the registration form, promotional forms, or what is collected through technology.

Before the Event

You may receive reminders and marketing messages prior to the event. You may opt-out of receiving these pre-event marketing messages at any time by logging into your account and modifying your user profile.

During the Event

We will not display your personal information at any time prior to the CollegeWeekLive event.  During the CollegeWeekLive event, you will have control over what personal information is displayed to other users based on your personal preferences.

During CollegeWeekLive, colleges whose booths you visit will receive your registration information so that they may contact you at a future time.  Additionally, third party advertisers may sponsor booths and/or keynote presentations. Registration information may be passed onto these third party advertisers when a user visits these sponsored areas so that they may contact you in the future. If you tell us to stop doing this, we will stop. Your registration information will not be passed onto speakers whose sessions you attend.

We will use the information you provide to personalize your experience. We will contact you from time to time via email and we will use your email address for security reasons to confirm that you are who you say you are. You can control the types and frequencies of certain emails you receive.

CollegeWeekLive offers chats and message boards.  Please be advised that information posted in these venues may become public knowledge. 

We may use the non-personally identifiable information, like your IP address, to statistically analyze site usage and to customize our site's content, layout and services. The resulting information will allow us to improve our site and better understand and serve our users.

After the Event

We may contact you via email after the event to receive feedback about your experience.

Outside of the Event (Third Party Advertisers)

You may "opt out" of receiving promotional materials at any time after the event. We may use your personal information to send you promotional materials, and share your information with advertisers and other third parties so that these third parties can send you targeted promotional materials. These promotional materials include communications that directly promote the use of Web sites or the purchase of products or services. These third parties may set cookies. You may "opt out" of receiving these promotional materials at any time.

When sharing your information with third parties we attempt to select only reputable companies that offer high quality products and services.
